Dried red fruit notes of cassis and cherry are complimented by wood spice on the nose plus a savory vegetal aroma of toasted fennel seed. Red fruit returns on the palate which is a little thin, yet balanced, and has soft tannin. Finishes with a little overly toasted flavor of whole clove spice.
