This white from Nando is crafted by winemaker Andrej Kristančič, and comes from the Primorska region of Slovenia. This 100% Rebula, also known as Ribolla Gialla is made with some minimal skin contact, then aged 6 months in stainless steel on lees. It has a golden, yellow color and offers inviting aromas of tart apple, honey, crushed almond, and flower blossoms. It possesses a round, mouth-coating texture on the front end, followed by a lot of acidity leading into the dry finish. This is a delicious white that can be enjoyed with a range of different foods, from fish to pork.
