A compelling blend of mostly Merlot (62%) with the remainder Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this starts off with aromas of crème de cassis, red bell pepper and anise which all build in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied, with a wonderful salinity aling with flavors of mocha, black tea, blackberry cobbler, green bell pepper and cassis flavors that all come together nicely. Showing notable ageing potential, this should continue to evolve well over the next decade and even beyond.
