One of the great wines made by Boukenhoutskloof, the 2016 Porseleinberg Syrah shows gorgeous dark fruits with exotic spices and smoky overtones that build momentum in the glass. The palate is plush, delivering both a great sense of richness and refinement. Light tannins connect with black tea, Asian spices, blackberry jelly and mocha flavors. Complex and highly satisfying in its youth, this will evolve well for the next decade or more.
