The 2018 Garnacha Rioja Alavesa 'EME' delivers aromas of black cherries and boysenberries which are woven together with spices, toasted oak, florals and hints of herbs all take shape in the glass. On the palate this possesses a medium to full-body with a nicely textured mouthfeel that is underlined by just enough acidity to provide a sense freshness. This continues to deliver ripe flavors of black/red fruits that are nuanced by sweet oak and spices which continue to build through the finish.
