The 2015 Adega Familiar Eladio Piñeiro 'Envidiacochina' is another excellent release from this estate that utilizes just a touch of residual sugar. The Rias Baixas Albariño sourced from this wine is an average age of 30 years. The wine was aged for six months on the lees in stainless steel with weekly battonage. There is a striking nose, as the wine displays aromatics of roasted pineapple, Pazzaz apple, honeydew melon and peach pit. The Albariño has bright flavors of nectarine rind, papaya, apricot and hints of Marcona almond. Lithe and rich, this excellent wine shows the more lush side of Rias Baixas.(Best 2016-2020) - September, 2016 (OB)
