The Viña Jaraba Reserva is a compelling blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 10% Merlot which was largely aged in American oak (70%) prior to bottling. The deep hue entices as black tea, blackberry cobbler and exotic spices enter the fray aromatically. The silky texture really entices as the wine delivers copious dark fruits that mingle with the pipe tobacco, leather and Asian spice flavors. The long finish lingers. Delightful now, this will also evolve well over the next decade.
