The 2012 Clos De Nit 'Crianza' Red Wine, is a blend of 40% Garnacha with 40% Carinena with the remainder Syrah. This wine was aged six months in oak prior to bottling. The wine yields intense aromatics of pipe tobacco, spicebox, black cherry, anise and hints of wild blackberry. There are medium flavors reminiscent of black cherry, anise, cassis, leather, eucalyptus and spicebox. The spicy elements to this blend shine through. (Best 2016-2022) - September, 2016 (OB)
