The 2015 'Roble' Ribera del Duero is made from 100% Tempranillo and was aged 4 months in French and American oak. This instantly opens to aromas of blueberries and dark cherries which come together with spices, toast and black olive notes. Full-bodied, round and voluptuous, with layers of dark fruits and spices which persist on the long finish. This will be accessible early, but it will be best to allow it another year of bottle age to settle in. (Best 2018-2023) - July, 2017 (JD)
