The 2016 Sanford & Benedict Pinot Noir is a simply fabulous showing in this vintage. As gorgeous wine slowly begins to unwind it releases inviting aromatics of black cherries, plums, red currants, exotic spices and lavender all taking shape. This beautifully made red is displays wonderful elegance with a gorggeous seamless quality. It continues to display excellent depth and precision through the pretty finish. I expext this Pinot Noir will likely begin to hit its stride after some short-term cellaring and continue evolve gracegully for many years after.
