The 2016 La Côte Pinot Noir is another absolutely brilliant wine from the entire team at Domaine de la Côte. Sourced from the La Côte Vineyard, this fantastic wine begins with gorgeous aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries, which are woven together with exotic spices, dried florals, forest floor, white pepper and hints of sassafras all working together. On the palate this is just as stunning, as it is beautifully balanced with a wonderful textured, velvety mouthfeel. It continues to impress as it displays remarkable finesse and precision all the way through the seamless finish. While this is already absolutely delicious and showing an incredible amount of youthful appeal, it also has serious ageing potential, and should continue to evolve, taking on even more wonderful characteristics in the cellar for many years to come.
