Year after year, the 'La Cote' Pinot Noir is a spectacular showing from the team at Domaine de la Cote, which is lead by Raj Parr and Sashi Moorman, and the 2013 is certainly no exception. This is a completely compelling wine that delivers absolutely beautiful, vibrant aromas of ripe raspberries and red fruits layered with exotic spices, floral, burnt ash, mint and fresh minerals. This is beautifully balanced and focused as it continues to impress with its lavish texture that expands seamlessly onto the finish. Even at this early stage, the 2013 is nothing short of sensational and should only continue to evolve gracefully for many years to come. La Côte is always fermented with 100% whole bunches and aged in 0% new oak. (Best 2016-2030) - June, 2015 (JD)
