Located in the Santa Rita Hills, this vineyard is located in an East/West oriented valley in which winds easily flow through. The soil is primarily sandy with seashells at this vineyard. The wine opens with aromatics of smoke, red cherry, red currant and rose petals. There are deep flavors of red cherry, lavender, red raspberry and cola. This balanced Pinot Noir has some lovely weight on the mid-palate, leading to a long finish with a saline streak. (Best 2016-2026) - September, 2016 (OB)
