The Stags Leap District Cabernet Sauvignon is typically harvested earlier than other AVAs for Hall. The result is an absolutely gorgeous wine which begins with a beautiful combination of red and dark fruits woven together with dried herbs and dusty minerals. On the palate this showcases wonderful bright fruit, yet possesses remarkable density. The combination of tannin and acidity invigorates, as flavors of crème de cassis, mocha, red cherry cordial and sweet pipe tobacco flavors all combine marvelously in the glass. While this is absolutely delicious now, it should also age gracefully for years to come.
