The 2011 Veracity is fantastic with aromas of crushed blackberry and tart raspberry followed by fresh lavender, violets, white pepper and crushed stones. This shows excellent concentration and the fruit explodes onto the rich palate. It is kept well balanced and even seems light on its feet from thanks to the mouthwatering acidity. This constantly evolves in the glass, picking up momentum and depth as it heads into the long juicy finish. A wonderful effort form Jordan Fiorentini with the blend of 57% Grenache, 25% Mourvedre and 18% Syrah from the Paderewski Vineyard. This is already almost impossible to resist, but give it another couple of years in bottle for it to be at its best. (Best 2015-2026) - January, 2014 (JD)
