This Chardonnay is sourced from the Huichica Vineyard, which is set on clay loam soils in the Carneros AVA. The freshness imparted here is really lovely as lemon zest, vanilla cream and minerals mingle with shades of nutmeg infused Gravenstein apple. Fantastic in its youth, this beautiful wine is showing great now but will continue to evolve nicely for a decade.
