Aged in 38% new French oak barrels, this Chardonnay from the Hyde Vineyard in Carneros sports a lemon-gold core with a silvery rim, this scrumptious example of a Carneros Chardonnay is a delight on the nose with aromas of yellow pear, red apple and toasted hazelnuts. It is medium-bodied, fresh and vibrant on the palate and generates a dichotomy of richness and freshness that I absolutely adore.
