Fruit coming from vines planted by the famed Sangiacomo family and planted in 1993, this Chardonnay saw 40% new French oak during fermentation. Producing vibrant tropical fruit notes alongside aromas of dried banana, slivered almonds, vanilla bean seed, and honeydew melon. The palate is much the same, but also brings some cedary herbs and sweet cinnamon aspects to the mid-palate. Mouthwatering acidity, a full creamy body, and a lengthy finish are all present. 949 cases produced.
