The 2017 Adastra Vineyard Pinot from Los Carneros begins with seductive aromas of black cherries, cranberry, and some bramble berries, which are woven together with dried spice, tree bark and hints of sweet oak. Medium-bodied, beautifully balanced with a layered mouth feel that is soft and seamless with a zip of acidity on the palate. This goes on to impress as it shows remarkable concentration all the way through the long supple finish. This is already drinking well should also evolve beautifully and offer a drinking window that spans a decade.
