As the 2012 'Tierra Roja' Cabernet Sauvignon slowly begins to open, it begins to releases wonderful aromas of dark currants and black cherries, which are followed by blackberry liquor, violets, anise and fresh minerals. The full body is nicely structured around a core of gorgeous pure fruits and really begins to soften up nicely with extended air contact. Of all the 2012's from Tor, this seems to require the most air contact before it begins to show its true character, so readers will need to show a bit more patience here, however that being said this will prove to be age worthy and there is a certainly a very long, bright future ahead.
