This fantastic Pinot Noir comes from the Holder Vineyard in the Russian River Valley, which was a former apple orchard purchased in 2000. It immediately begins to dazzle as it offers a stunning bouquet of strawberries, raspberries, exotic spices, forest floor, fresh herbs and pretty floral aromas. This displays excellent balance, with a gorgeous mouthfeel and beautifully focused fruit. The finish is long and supple with good acidity that leaves your mouth watering. This is a total knockout from La Pitchoune that is showing tremendously well today and will only become more compelling over the next decade.
