Located in the Russian River Valley, the Westside Farms Vineyard is a 75-acre ranch that is set on Yolo silty loam soil. The 2014 was aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak prior to bottling and begins with aromatics of Golden Delicious apple, butterscotch, crème brûlée and wild mushroom which fill the glass. The sterling minerality to this wine entices as characteristics of crushed gravel, roasted pineapple, lemon oil and papaya flavors expand through the mid-palate. Balanced, focused and possessing wonderful length, this incredible bottling will cellar well over the course of the next decade. Only 234 cases made of this outstanding wine.
