This 2018 Howell at the Moon is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Lillian's home vineyard on Howell Mountain. This immediately grabs your attention with its dark inky color, which is then followed by seductive aromas of ripe black cherries, dark currents, and ripe plum, that come together with fresh violets, exotic spices, graphite, dusty rocks, hints of dark chocolate and forest herbs. This full-bodied Cabernet possesses wonderful opulence and remarkably concentrated fruit, which is supported by its big, and polished tannins. It continues to impress as gorgeous ripe dark fruits that expand through the palate leading up to the long, supple finish. This is already compelling, however it will benefit from 3-5 years of cellar time and continue to evolve over the next 15 years or more.
