The 2017 Anthem Mount Veeder Estate Caberent Sauvignon opens to wonderfully perfumed aromatics of dark cherries and plums which are woven together with fresh cut flowers, cedar, spices along with hints of earth and wild herb nuances all taking shape in the glass. On the palate this is continues to impress with its beautifully polished, nicely integrated tannins, which lead up to the seamless finish. This certainly has the potential to evolve for a decade or longer, however it is already quite appealing in its youth.
