STONESTREET Cabernet Sauvignon 'Rockfall Vineyard' 2010

Vineyard manager Gabriel Valencia resides over the Rockfall Vineyard in Alexander Valley. The vineyard sits at 2,000 feet and is perched in the Mayacamas mountains. The wine was aged 19 months in 42% new French oak prior to bottling. This dense wine has lovely herbaceousness on the nose. There are aromas of red bell pepper, anise and blackberry. This leads to herbaceous flavors of red bell pepper, blackberry, anise and black pepper with lovely terroir. This is drinking excellent right now. (Best 2015-2025) - November, 2015 (OB)
