The 2013 ‘Upper Picnic Block’ is a flashy Pinot Noir which opens with ripe raspberries, plums and cherries, woven together with spices, dried herbs, and dusty notes. On the palate this is richly textured with soft, round tannins and lovely overall finesse. It displays excellent depth and makes a seamless transition into the finish where it continues to deliver wonderful flavors of ripe fruit and spices. (Best 2016-2023) - May, 2016 (JD)
