The 2016 Thomas Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is simply sensational. It begins with magnificent aromatics of ripe dark and red currants, crème de cassis, sweets vanilla spices, mocha and hints of sage which all take shape. On the palate this is full-bodied backed by absolutely gorgeous round velvety tannins, along with excellent overall balance and concentration. It goes on to deliver layers of ripe dark/red fruits, mocha and sweet spices with wonderful finesse leading up to the seamless finish. This is already a pleasure to drink as a young wine, however there is no doubting it will go on to evolve to become even more compelling with time.
