The 2016 Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignon from Pino Ridge Vineyards shows a complex range of aromas including black cherries, dark currants and blueberries woven with pencil shavings, mocha, dusty minerals, spices and sweet toasted notes all bursting from the glass. On the palate this is plush and nicely layered with a flavors of dark and red berries, dusty minerals and spice notes all coming together and expanding through the voluptuous finish. A fruit forward and delicious Cabernet from Pine Ridge that is hard to resist now, yet should go on to drink well for over a decade.
