The 2016 Browne Family Vineyards Chardonnay (with 4% Viognier blended in) starts off with aromatics reminiscent of poached pear, butter and hints of lemon cream. The oaky elements to this wine play a nice role once in the mouth, and it also shows nice acidity considering the heat of the vintage. Tree fruit, minerals and creamy flavors persist on the finish.
