This compelling wine is a sensational blend of 33% Cabernet Franc, 33% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 17% Petit Verdot. The Ciel du Cheval Vineyard delivers some of Washington’s finest grapes, Cadence expertly blends these grapes, offering a fine expression of Red Mountain’s fruit. Like the other young Cadence wines the nose is a bit muted at first, but opens up over time. Bramble and blackberries, weave together with a hint of cocoa and spice box on the palate, and the gripping tannins hold their finish for quite some time.
