The 2016 'Carving Blocks' Riesling shows aromatics of petrol with bright pear and green apple on the nose with hints of nutmeg. The wine shows a wonderful minerality and weight. Candied green apple, kumquat and green papaya flavors all marvelously combine on the palate. This shows a wonderful combination of weight and tension.
