The Olsen Vineyard is an esteemed cooler site that grows great Chardonnay in the Yakima Valley. On the nose this turns heads with brioche, Meyer lemon creme brûlée and pineapple accents. The combination of mouthfeel and balance to the wine really impresses. Vanilla cream, butterscotch and Challah bread flavors all collide in the mouth, with good minerality. This has a really good sense of place as I can see this cellaring well over the next eight plus years.
