This is largely Grenache, sourced with a touch of Mourvèdre from the Stone Tree Vineyard. Blood orange rind, red cherry and rose petal aromatics with a touch of smoky accents round out the nose. The palate is lithe and rich, showing off red cherry, blood orange rind, rose water, and guava puree. The interplay between red fruits and citrus is absolutely outstanding, as is the exceedingly long finish.
