This inky colored Malbec by Maryhill is an excellent value. The nose shows good range with smoke, coffee grounds and a herbal edge with some lighter chocolate tones. The palate shows good mid-palate weight and a ripe mouthfeel. Currently exhibiting some good acidity and light tannins, black fruits mingle with tar and chocolate on the palate. This is a good effort.
