The 2016 Devium Red Wine is a silky blend of 76% Mourvedre, 21% Syrah and 3% Grenache Blanc all sourced from the French Creek Vineyard in the Yakima Valley. Needing a one hour decant to be fully aroused, the wine awakens in the glass with red currant, creosote, cigar box and citrus rind aromatics. The range here is really outstanding. The silky texture completes this red and citrus fruit driven wine that shows wonderful elegance. Still young now, this beautiful wine will continue to evolve in the bottle over the next decade. If enjoying in its youth, be sure to give this a one hour plus long decant
