The 2015 'Estate' Chardonnay by Tranche is sourced from their estate owned Celilo Vineyard, known for cool climate and mineral-driven Chardonnay. A wonderful bouquet of toasty oak with marzipan and butterscotch with Pink Lady apple greets you. The palate shows good freshness and intensity yet is also highly viscous. Papaya and roasted pineapple flavors give this an exotic edge. The finish is nearly a minute long. This is an exceedingly good effort by the talented Andrew Trio.
