This blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc is aged in 48% new French oak for 20 months. Displaying deep purple color in the glass, the nose is absolutely stunning with fragrances of black currant, bramble, violet, shaved dark chocolate and cigar box that delivers a wine that is full bodied, concentrated and balanced. The structured palate supplies rich and scrumptious flavors of bramble, espresso powder, dried thyme and old leather. The quality of wine coming from winemaker Chris Petersen and his team is truly incredible. Give this another 2-3 years in bottle for the wine to begin to reach its potential and enjoy over the next two decades or more. 325 cases produced.
