A 89% Merlot dominant wine with the remainder being 11% Cabernet Franc that spends 20 months in 28% new French oak barrels. A deep ruby color in the glass, the nose explodes with aromas of dark Bing cherry, red plums, tomato leaf, toasted clove, purple flower petals and dusty road. The palate is fruit-forward and delivers amazing richness and balance with flavors of ripe black cherry, dried thyme, star anise and a hint of baking chocolate combined with medium plus acidity and high tannins creates a spectacular wine from superstar wine maker Chris Peterson. 210 cases produced.
