PASSING TIME Red Wine, Columbia Valley 2019

Aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak, this scrumptious left-bank Bordeaux style blend made up of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 12% Petit Verdot that envelopes the senses on the nose. Bountiful aromas of rich red and black fruits, ground coffee beans, black plum, dusty country road, and burned incense abound. More savory on the palate with medium tannins and tangy acidity, the palate pops with black cherry, boysenberry, tar, and anise. Beautifully structured, this wine needs a year or two in bottle to really come alive, and then enjoy over the next decade. Only 3900 bottles produced.
