A fantastic Riesling that rests 7 months in 46% stainless steel and 54% Austrian oak (20% new, 34% neutral) that contains just a smudge of residual acidity which keeps the wine interesting and fresh with its elevated levels of acidity. Notes of tropical fruit, lemon peel, ripe pear, ginger, and a hint of honey form the nose while the palate is much the same with added layers of pink grapefruit and petrol. I would love to try this wine in a decade to see how it evolves because I think it’s going to be wonderfully good. Pop this open with some spicy Asian food, you won’t regret it.
