A blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc, and 12% Merlot that is aged for 11 months in 25% new French oak barrels. It starts off a touch herbal, but give it some time in the glass and plenty of air, and aromas of spiced red plum, black cherry, cinnamon bark, ground nutmeg, and licorice come forth. It flows across the palate with no harsh tannin and plenty of mouthwatering acidity. For the price point, this blend from SOH is an incredible buy.
