Cassis and loads of blackberry fruit, as well as notes of mountain sagebrush, anise, tobacco leaf, and hints of milk chocolate all emerge from the 2019 Januik Cabernet Sauvignon. This rich effort brings medium-high acidity, sweet crunchy tannins, a wonderfully developed mid-palate, and lovely balance. It definitely needs another year in the bottle before enjoying. This is a great bottle of wine for only $30.
