The second vintage release of this Washington ‘Super-Tuscan’ blend is comprised of a melange of 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 48% Sangiovese, and 4% Merlot. Dark cherry, white pepper, scorched cedary herbs, and purple flower petals bring focus to the tight and focused palate. There is a lovely aspect of backing chocolate that hits the back of the palate. It sports medium acidity and medium plush tannins. It’s a bit tight now, so don’t open until 2024.
