The 2021 Pal Mal is quite different from the 2020 as this one is a more rich and Taval-like style of Rosé coming from 100% Syrah fruit that is barrel fermented. It almost looks like a very light Pinot Noir in the bottle - medium translucent ruby in the glass with a neon rim - I get some darker fruit flavors shining through. Cranberry, fresh blueberry, some wild thimbleberry flavors lead to a mouthwatering raspberry and dried sage finish.
