You won’t find 100% Cinsault wines from Washington very often and this one is a stunner. It’s fermented whole cluster with carbonic maceration in barrel and then aged in 100% neutral oak. Checking in at only 12.5% alcohol, it’s medium to dark-purple in the glass and explodes with fresh blueberry, huckleberry, savory herbs, and crushed wet volcanic rock tones. It finishes with chalky tannins, some meaty characteristics on the mid-palate, and a wonderful length.
