I am loving the Mourvèdre that is coming out of Washington and the Gard 2019 Kvasir is a great example. Checking in at 74% Mourvèdre, 13% Grenache, and 13% Syrah you are greeted with smokey grilled black plum, ground black pepper, smoked brisket, and scorched herbs notes in the glass. Pair it with a grilled steak and watch it come alive. Rounded in the mouth with no rough edges, this one ends tart and meaty on the finish.
