Fermented in concrete and then aged in 40% new French oak barrels, this blend of 61% Syrah and 39% Grenache is black-fruit driven, with additional aspects of graphite, crushed black peppercorn, bacon fat, and dried thyme. It’s rich and expressive on the nose and an inky dark purple in the glass. Featuring medium levels of silky tannins and lovely acidity, it ends with a luscious and full mouthfeel.
