Boasting tantilizing notes of blackberry, blue plum, toasted black peppercorn, dried herbs, and a bit of dried jerky, this stunning Mouvèdre by Gramery Cellars spends 18 months in neutral French oak puncheons, barrels, and foudre. A combination of 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah, which gives it some of those lovely pepper and olive notes, perfect levels of acidity, crunchy tannin, and a spicey and black-fruit dominate finish complete the wine.
