Another lovely red wine from Avennia, the 2020 Gravura is comprised of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, and 12% Cabernet Franc and is aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak that fans of Avennia will adore. Offering classic Bordeaux-styled notes of red and black fruits as well as notes of dusty country road, iron ore, crushed green peppercorn, aged leather, and tobacco, it’s full-bodied on the palate, gifts firm grippy tannins, wonderful balance, and a fruit and pepper finish. Give this 2-3 years of bottle age before opening for the best experience. 594 cases were made.
