Aged for 16 months in a combination of French oak and concrete egg, this enchanting GSM is a mélange of 46% Grenache, 28% Mourvèdre, and 26% Syrah and shows a medium to dark ruby purple core in the glass. Meaty in texture and flavors, the savory components hit first with notes of bacon fat, crushed black olives, country road, and toasted peppercorns. That is immediately followed up with fantastic black and blue fruit with just a tad of sweet vanilla and baking spice peeking through to the finish.
